The Kenya support center will do everything to give you everything you need to help you make a well-informed decision. If your have decided to share your skills and enthusiasm prepare you for your skill sharing experience in a community project in Kenya. Don’t hesitate to contact when you have questions.

When you decide to apply for a cultural exchange with the Kenya support center we will ask you a non-refundable fee of € 250.-
Included in this fee is
- transport from Mombasa airport to Kilifi
- introduction day with cultural lessons and language
- personal briefing on your project
- first day transport to your project
- assistance, guidance, support in placement issues
- evaluation of your placement
- use of the Kenya support resource center
- access to internet against low costs
- advice on educational, sustainable and responsible tourism
- exchange of books
- opportunities to meet and network with other cultural exchangers and local Kenya Experience volunteers
- 24 hours emergency contact with a worker from the Kenya support center
- use of the Kenya support center postbox
You have to arrange and pay for your flight, vaccinations, food, insurance, visa and accommodation. However you can ask the Kenya support center to book accommodation for you once you have decided where you want to stay.
When you’re interested in other forms of tourism than mass tourism you can book activities with Edu-Tour.
Edu-Tour provides transport to any destination, car hire, city tour. They organise home arranged meals, homestays and safari’s. They offer cultural and language training. The Kenya support center can help you to book your arrangements.
